My job is to help you look and feel like the very best version of yourself. While you may gain wisdom and patience with age, you can also lose some volume in the tissues of your face, hands, lips and neck. This may result, for example, in deeper etched lines that are resistant to Botox, thin lips, and prominent veins on the back of the hands.
Restoring a bit of volume to these areas with dermal fillers is a fast, extremely effective way to rejuvenate your appearance.

Fillers and Botox are both injectables, meaning that they are administered through a very fine needle into the skin. They also often work in conjunction with what is sometimes referred to as a non-surgical facelift or liquid facelift. We call it V-Face — as a rejuvenated face involves a V shape between the temples/cheeks, and the jawline. Sometimes, patients think that dermal fillers and Botox do the same thing. They do not. While the ultimate goal of both fillers and neurotoxins like Jeuveau, Dysport and Xeomin, is to subtly enhance your appearance, they work in completely different ways. Neurotoxins such as Jeuveau, Dysport and Xeomin temporarily relax the underlying muscles in the treatment area. This, in turn, smooths out the surface skin, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles over time. Michelle even uses it on herself, and her younger patients to prevent future wrinkles from forming. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, address volume loss. As we age, our skin and tissues begin to deflate. This starts somewhere in our mid-20’s. Part of the reason for this is that the body’s production of collagen and elastin, two of the cornerstones of youth, is beginning to decline. Other factors such as genetics, lifestyle choices like sitting in the sun and/or smoking, and weight gain/loss can all speed up this process. Fillers are a great way to: diminish more deeply etched lines fill in sunken cheeks plump up the lips address hollows under the eyes smooth out prominent veins on the hands.

What are the benefits of fillers?
It used to be thought that aging was solely the result of gravity’s effect on the skin. But we now realize that it is also about volume loss. Replacing this volume with the appropriate dermal filler is an effective way to turn back the clock. I love fillers because they allow me to quickly rejuvenate my patients without surgery, and because they are so versatile. I can use one on its own to plump up the lips or fill in a wrinkle. But I will also combine fillers to restore a more youthful looking, round contour to the mid-face.
Dermal Fillers Offered
I believe in offering patients the full range of dermal filler options. This includes:
- Belotero
- Juvederm Ultra XC
- Juvederm Ultra Plus XC
- Juvederm Vollure
- Juvederm Volbella
- Radiesse
- Radiesse Plus
- Restylane
- Restylane Contour
- Restylane Defyne
- Restylane Kyss
- Restylane Refyne
- Restylane Silk
- RHA 1-4
Most of these are comprised of hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. What makes each of these fillers unique is the size of their HA molecules. Fillers with smaller sized molecules such as Juvéderm Ultra are best for areas that only need a slight amount of plumping or where the skin is thin. While fillers with heavier sized molecules like Restylane Lyft are better for deeper areas of volume loss, such as those that may occur in the mid-face and cheeks.
